There are many reasons why I feel Xaverian is an outstanding college, but first and foremost is our commitment to supporting you to develop intellectually, spiritually and socially. We are very proud of our established reputation for delivering academic success which was recognised by Ofsted when the college was graded “outstanding in all areas”.  Ofsted inspectors continue to strongly endorse the work of the college. During a survey of best practice, they said:

“The college has an all-pervasive ‘can do’ culture. Very committed and well-trained staff have high expectations of all their students. The college’s ethos is exceptional….. It is immediately apparent that Xaverian is a college with values that are lived and breathed. This is definitely a college which role models outstanding practice.”

In August 2017 our students celebrated yet another year of excellent results with many students achieving high grades in both A-Level subjects and applied courses. My colleagues and I continually strive to support our students to progress successfully to higher education, apprenticeships and employment.

The Xaverian campus is very similar to that of a university. The college, however, remains a very close knit community in order to offer personalised pastoral care and support. Through this we aim to develop your confidence and independence. Above all Xaverian is a true community, and students at the college can expect support from teachers, progress tutors, careers advisors, college counsellors and many others throughout their time here.
