SFCA Funding and Finance Conference

12th Mar 2020 09:30 - 15:30 Arcadis, Kings Cross, London

Why Attend

The day will focus on how to ensure the seamless alignment of a college’s financial planning with its broader institutional strategy. As such it is suitable for FDs, governors and principals and should be a rich forum for sharing ideas, strategies, challenges and solutions and for building networks of practitioners across the sector.

The conference will address 5 matters of particular significance in our sector at this time:

  1. The changing nature of college financial oversight
  2. The options for expansion in preparation for the population bulge
  3. Establishing and communicating your college priorities for allocating the additional funding announced by the government this Autumn
  4. Your Reserves strategy in the light of the above: restore the reserves or invest in growth, or . . .?
  5. Maximising your fixed assets and estates

Speakers invited include:

  • Lord Agnew, minister with responsibility for college financial oversight
  • John Boyle, Director of SFCA’s Funding and Finance Hub
  • Jo Vickers, COO of the Collaborative Learning Trust
  • Tom Deacon, UK Account Director | Education, Schools & Trusts at Arcadis
