Founded in 1430, with grammar school status being granted in 1552 by King Edward VI, the school went from strength to strength and in 1975 became a sixth form college and specialised in proving A level education. The well-equipped and sympathetically developed campus incorporates a range of historic buildings and modern classrooms in an environment where traditional values meet modern teaching and learning experiences.
