HR/Employment Issues Specialist - Person Specification
Sixth Form Colleges are acknowledged leaders and experts in 16-18 education and provide a valuable stepping stone between school, higher education and employment. Over 160,000 16 to 18 year olds are enrolled in SFCA member institutions. When SFCs became independent corporations in 1993, they chose to maintain the benefits of national collective bargaining with teaching and support staff unions and created the forerunner of today’s SFCA which still negotiates model contracts and pay and conditions for its members.
SFCA is the membership organisation for England’s providers of sixth form Education. It represents, promotes and supports its 101 member institutions through a suite of membership services. The SFCA is recruiting for an HR/Employment Issues Adviser to provide a key role in advising SFCA members on employment and HR issues.
