Wyke offers a true ‘sixth form’ experience with high quality specialist teaching, a university style campus and a culture that fosters independence and encourages students to be themselves.  We are highly successful at supporting students to great destinations with 25% of our level three students progressing to Russell Group Universities, including unprecedented numbers securing a place at Oxbridge.

As the largest A Level provider in Hull and East Riding, the statistics are straightforward; students do very well at Wyke Sixth Form College.

We have established a reputation for our outstanding science and health provision. In recent years, over 40 students secured places on Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science through our bespoke Pre-medical Programme.

Our curriculum focuses on a broad portfolio of A levels and level 3 vocational qualifications, with targeted provision at level 2. We constantly review our offer to engage students and reflect national demand.  New qualifications in Engineering, Criminology and Creative Digital Media are some of the most recent additions.

The atmosphere here is a friendly one and expectations are high. There is little need for rules because we expect students to be self-disciplined. Wyke is the perfect place to gain independence; meet new people and enjoy new situations.
